Beeinflussung der Darmflora bei Neurodermitis- und Psoriasispatienten mit Hilfe eines milchsäurehaltigen Getränkes

Abstract: This study investigates the effects of a lactic acid formulation upon the pathogenic intestinal flora of 20 atopic eczema or psoriasis patients under controlled clinical conditions. The daily oral administration of this formulation over 3 weeks resulted in a obvious growth inhibition of pathogenic häm. E. coli, Klebsiella, Proteus and Staph. aureus strains both in vivo as in vitro. By contrast, a significant favourising growth effect upon physiological lactic acid producing bacteria as lactobacilli, bifidobacteria and enterococci was noticed.
