Therapie der Muskelverspannungen - der reflexzonen-orientierte Spiraldruck nach Dehn: Möglichkeiten und Grenzen

Abstract: The therapy according to Dehn is a new manual method of treatment for the elimination of muscular hardenings.The basic feature is, that muscels of the shoulder - and plevic girdle have a key function for the interaction of muscular processes up to the periphery: hardenings of the muscles adjacent to the trunk can cause distal disturbances, as for example tennis arm, carpal tunnel syndrome or tendosynovitis. By the manual technique of the spiral pressure, the hardening adjacent to the trunk is eliminated directly at the causative muscle and so the peripheral disturbance is eliminated effectively and permanently.The technique of the method, the indications and contra-indications are discussed. The therapy of muscular hardenings according to Dehn offers an effective help especially in the case of illnesses of the locomotor system which have been often treated in an unsatisfactory manner so far.
