Behandlung der Alopecia androgenetica und der Alopecia areata mit thymusextrakthaltigen Externa

Abstract: 59 women and 39 men with alopecia androgenetica and 32 patients with alopecia areata were treated with a shampoo and solution containing thymus extract over a period of 12 months. 43% of male patients and 94% of female patients with androgenetic alopecia had a benefit from this treatment. In 76% of patients with alopecia areata Thymu-Skin® therapy resulted in partial or fully regrowth of scalp hair. The average daily hairloss decreased in female patients with alopecia androgenetica from 143 (pretreatment) to 60 after 12 months. There was no remarkable change in male patients. In patients with alopecia areata the average daily hairloss drecreased from initially 167 to 28.
