Concomitant device diagnostics in a rehabilitation unit Part l: Sonographic procedures

Abstract: The article analyses the results of non-invasive examination (different ultrasonic techniques) carried out an 485 convalescent patients (from a total of 1670 patients) showing clinical symptoms. The targetted use of diagnostics especially the favourable condition associated with convalescence can produce important diagnoses of otherwise unknown conditions. By this means, the usefulness of convalescence can be significantly increased and important early diagnoses of otherwise unrecognised diseases can be made, with significant diminutions of expenses in Public Health and longterm maintenance of fitness for work as well as for special occupation.
