Die Bedeutung der normobaren Hypoxietherapie in der Praxis

Journal/Book: Ärztezeitschrift für Naturheilverfahren. 1993; 34/9: 761-772.

Abstract: The method, Bergluft" is founded an the evaluation of natural processes how the resistance of the unborn child in the womb against oxygen deficiency is increased through stimulation by hypoxigenation. The method is based an the suggestion that any disorder in the organic functions (stress, diseases) is related to a disorder in the oxygen exchange. Any organism that is used to low oxygen concentrations has a higher resistance against various unfavourable factors. The natural defence mechanisms which the child in the womb has developed through temporarily reduced oxygen supply are latently maintained in the genetic programme of the cells. By means of inhalation of a mixture of gases with reduced oxygen content of 10 per cent these reserves of the body are stimulated and the resistance of the organism is increased. The possibilities for applying the method „Bergluft" are far-reaching. Good results are especially obtained in case of various heart diseases, bronchial diseases, diabetes mellitus, metabolic disorders, allergies and neuroses. Based an the positive results of the stimulation of the immune system of the organism by means of the treatment with the method „Bergluft" it can be concluded that this method is effective both in the prophylaxis and also in the treatment of AIDS.
