Umwelt und Allergie

Abstract: The worldwide increase of allergic reactions is based on a disturbed relationship between man and his environment. Through human intervention in nature the basis for life is indeed weakened; at the same time the effects by environment on man are increasing through the quantitative and qualitative growth in the production of toxic substances. This applies not only to chemicals, but also to emotional and spiritual influences. Thus man becomes inwardly weaker, which expresses itself as generalized immune deficiency. This is a consequence of man's style of life. The allergic reaction is the desperate attempt of the organism to protect itself from environment's intrusion. In the long run this can only be overcome by man establishing a new caring relationship to nature and environment.
