Influence of acupuncture on the discharge of PHA neurons in the rabbit.

This paper deals with whether the posterior hypothalamus area (PHA) can receive signals from electroacupuncture (EA) at "Neiguan", and whether a relative specificity does exist between acupoints or acupoint and non-acupoint. The neuron activity was recorded extracellularly for analyzing the influence of EA at different acupoints and non-acupoint on the discharge of PHA neurons.
