Abstract: Discusses the insights of T. Grandin (see PA, Vol 78:12702) on current music therapy (MT) practice. Grandin, who was diagnosed as having autism as a child, went on to earn a doctoral degree. Topics discussed include causes and treatment of autism, specifically, Grandin's support of MT as part of the treatment program.
