Spontaneous Tempo and Personality |
Abstract: The purpose of the study is to determine if there is any relationship between spontaneous tempo and personality. Spontaneous tempo was measured by asking the subject to tap with one finger on a specially designed device which provides measurements of the speed, intensity, steadiness and control of the tapping. The subject is asked to tap for fifteen seconds with the dominant hand and the non-dominant hand, following different instructions. In our study two groups are compared; a psychiatric patients one, and a normal individuals group, in order to find any significant difference between them. The results are in agreement with our hypothesis. This paper will be published by the BSMT later in l992, price on application.
