Music and Immunology; about music therapy with AIDS patients

Abstract: For the last three years there has been an increase in patients suffering from HIV infections and AIDS seeking treatment in our clinic. As part of their treatment they are offered various art therapies. All of these therapies work on a phenomenological basis. 52 patients have been treated so far, almost all of them had music therapy. I would like to discuss our thoughts on the question of whether music therapy - and more commonly art therapy - seems to be indicated with patients who have immunological problems.
