Performance anxiety

Abstract: Comments on the article by D. B. Clark and W. S. Agras (see PA, Vol 78:31015) on the treatment of performance anxiety. The method used to assess the level of anxiety and the criteria used to judge musical performance are questioned. It is agreed that minor tranquilizers should be avoided.
