The art process in therapy

Abstract: Explored subjective experience during the art process to provide a better understanding of the therapeutic aspects of 4 Ss' (aged 36-48 yrs) interaction with the art medium. By chance, depression was a common element in the presenting problem of each S. A quality of unknowingness emerged as an important source of therapeutic learnings that counselors can facilitate in therapy.
