Bewegungstherapie bei Angioorganopathien der unteren Extremität

Abstract: The kinesitherapy is an effective form of therapy in case of peripheral arterial occlusion of the lower extremity. In a study 58 male patients (54 to 69 years of age) with pelviofemoral and femoral types of occlusion in stage II according to Fontaine underwent a six months' therapeutical sports treatment.The multifactorial mode of action of the therapeutical sports treatment directly influences the symptoms and the progression of the symptomatology, the organic physical capacity in total as well as the life quality.A dynamic interval training in form of a combination training emphasizing endurance proved to be best.For any effective treatment a life-attending physical conditioning has to be required since the control after the four months' discontinuation of the therapeutical sports treatment already showed a distinct reduction of the adaptation phenomena.
