Calcium carbonicum

Abstract: Sometimes the improvement in a chronic case cannot be seen immediately; a case is presented where three weeks after the medication a slight cold in the head was experienced by the patient, together with a quick improvement of the chronic symptoms. We should be careful in the interpretation of this kind of process: if, as is often the case in these situations, we have given a second prescription for the catarrh, the possibility of a retarded effect of the first prescription should not be overlooked.
