Abstract: The alterations in one's sense of well-being caused by changes in the weather, in particular in the foothills of the Alps as caused by the foehn, are first discussed together with characteristic symptoms.Then these symptoms are compared to the symptomatic descriptions provided for certain drugs in medical drug tests. The 3rd section describes the use of and indications for the drugs treated in the previous section in treating ailments causes by weather influence.
