Akute Infekte bei Kindern mit chronischen Krankheiten |
Journal/Book: Allgemeine Homöopathische Zeitung. 1992; 237/6: 238-245.
Abstract: The treatment of acute infections in children, who undergo a homoeopathic treatment because of a chronic disease calls for the use of the simile rule with every change of the health condition. This can be the occurrence of a children´s disease, new symptoms, a reinforcement of known symptoms by physical or psychic strains or accidents. The basis for this is given by Hahnemann in Organon §§73 and 92 and in the "Chronische Krankheiten (chronic diseases)" page 45, 58-59, 147 and 163-166. A treatment of these "morbi intercurrentes" is only done if it is absolutely necessary. The administration of an acute drug leads to an interruption of the chronic treatment. Afterwards the treatment is continued with the Simile, which has to be determined once again. The treatment of an acute infection is shown by means of two examples. With the first ill children it was necessary to administer an acute drug and to continue the further treatment with the new simile in the sense of an "antipsoric first aid". With the second ill child it was not necessary to change the chronic drug, because the symptoms already corresponded to the already prescribed simile.
