Die Lokalbehandlung von Kontusionen und Distorsionen des Kniegelenkes mit einer Symphytum-Wirkstoffkomplex-Salbe

Abstract: Topical therapy in sprains, and contusions of the knee joint with a special Symphytum ointment. The efficacy of local therapy with a percutaneous Antitraurnaticum - a (special) Symphytum ointment - was investigated in 22 patients with fresh sprains and contusions of the knee joint. A two week period of treatment was planned. The clinical symptoms (swelling, pain on active and passive movement, pain at rest) decreased rapidly under topical application of the special Symphytum, ointment and were soon completely eliminated. All patients were already fully painfree after 10 to 14 days. The tolerability of this special Symphytum ointment was good, systemic or local allergic effects could not be observed.
