Effects Of C02-baths in the combined concept of the early functional therapy in cases of algodystrophy

Abstract: Objective: The effects of the application of C02-baths for the purposes of the specific early functional combined therapy in cases of algodystrophy should be differentiated.Subjects: Patients suffering from acute posttraumatic algodystrophy in hand.Design: A four weeks' omission test was carried out in group B contrasting to the related group A. The relevant parameters in process of regeneration were statistically calculated as a chronological serial analysis.Results: In regard of the multi-variable design the results demonstrate highly significant group differences in the case of the progression of regeneration, at which group A is definitely superior to group B. Besides group B displayed an additional effect of delay, going beyond the four weeks' initial organisation of the monotherapy.Conclusions: The potential influences regarding to the effects of the C02-bath are performing better Organisation of the exercises and superior progression of regeneration. Obviously there are additive effects.
