Die medikamentöse Behandlung der Osteoporose unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von Magnesium

Abstract: So far we only know fluoride that it may lead to new myelopoiesis with comparatively slight side-effects. The side-effects mainly include inflammatory-like pains in the environment of joints. In our opinion these pain sare caused by fluorineinduced calcium phosphate infiltrations.To a large degree, magnesium can prevent these calcifications. This is the major significance of magnesium in the treatment of osteoporosis. Kalzitonin inhibits above all the bone destruction and has an obviously centrally achieved analgesic efficiency. Accordingly, it is mainly indicated in cases of increased bone destruction rations and after a compression fracture of a vertebra. Estrogens can only retard the bone destruction in the postmenopause; therefore they cannot induce a new myelopoiesis. The coherence therapy of osteoporosis has not yet been confirmed by experience.
