Der Krebspatient im Spannungsfeld zwischen Schulmedizin und biologischer Medizin

Abstract: The tension between school- and biological medicine depends in its extent on the intensity of opinion forming impulses given from one or the other side. Obviously school medicine is the basis of any medical research and activity. In the course of medical history a lot of results in research of so called outsiders have gained an untouchable position in medical science of today. In its fundamental comprehension medicine is in the first place a science in order to cure patients and in the second place a scientific field of research. The extent of the dispute between traditional medicine and biological medicine stands - and this is strange to say - in a reverse proportional relation to the helplessness of the patients and consequently escalates especially in oncology. As to us doctors we manage to bring the suspicious patient to make use of all therapeutical offer, even of unensured and not proved ones.
