Abstract: We have recently undertaken an empiric approach to the study of the action mechanism of homeopathic drugs by looking for possible effects of a large series of compounds at various dilutions on a well established in vitro model where the agonist-stimulated production of superoxide anion (O2-) by blood neutrophils and their adhesion to serum-coated plastic surfaces are evaluated. Tests were carried out in triplicate or quadrupli- cate in a final volume of 100 ml metabolism.
