Endovasosonographie; Erste Erfahrungen mit einer neuen Methode

Abstract: Dr. med. Dr. med. habil. H. Rinecker Chirurgische Klinik Dr. Rinecker München Zusammenfassung Eine Mikrominiaturisierung der Sonographie-Schallköpfe erlaubte die Entwicklung von ca. 2 0 mm Durchmesser aufweisenden Sonographiekathetern. Vorliegende Arbeit stellt das auf diesen Kathetern fußende neue bildgebende Verfahren der Endovasosonographie im peripheren Gefäßbereich vor. Ein Indikationsgebiet wird in der Analyse der Gefäßwandpathologie perioperativ gesehen. Darüber hinaus erlaubt die Methode die Gewebeumgebung auch kleinster Hohlorgane tief im Körperinneren darzustellen. Endovascular Sonography. First Experience with a Novel Method: Recently sonographic probes were microminiaturized. This resulted in the development of ultrasound catheters with an outer diameter of about 2 mm. This paper demonstrates first ultrasonic images made by catherisation of peripheral arteries. One forseeable indication of this endovascular sonography is the analysis of arterial wall pathology pre- and postoperatively. Depiction of tissues surrounding ubiquitous medium diameter vessels deep intracorporally is another potential of the new method. ab
