Das Patienteninteresse an Akupunktur - Ergebnisse einer epidemiologischen Untersuchung

Abstract: Dr. med. A. Molsberger Düsseldorf Zusammenfassung Wir berichten über die Ergebnisse einer epidemiologischen Erhebung zur Frage der Bedeutung der Akupunktur für den Patienten. Insgesamt wurden die Daten einer für den Normalpatienten repräsentativen Stichprobe von 987 Patienten ausgewertet. Danach fühlen sich 43 7 % der Patienten nicht ausreichend über die Möglichkeiten der Akupunktur informiert. 73 1 % der Patienten glauben daß die Möglichkeiten der Akupunktur noch nicht ausreichend genutzt werden. 70 4 % aller Patienten würden sich mit Akupunktur behandeln lassen. Am häufigsten wird die Akupunktur zur Gewichtsreduktion und zur Raucherentwöhnung angewandt. Summary We report on the results of an epidemiological inquiry with respect to the question about the significance of the acupuncture to the patients. In total the date of a sample of 987 patients have been evaluated which is representative for the normal patient. According thereto 43 7 % of the patients feel not sufficiently informed about the possibilities provided by the acupuncture 73 1 % of the patients think that the possibilities of the acupuncture are yet not sufficiently used. 70 4 % of all patients would undergo a treatment with acupuncture. The acupuncture is most frequently applied for the reduction of weight and for weaning smokers. wt
