Abstract: Prof. Dr. med. Kurt-Alphons Jochheim Erftstadt-Lechenich Zusammenfassung Medizinisch-pädagogische Zusammenarbeit hat eine lange Tradition in der Behindertenfürsorge. Diesbezügliche Wurzeln in den Bereichen Blindheit Gehörlosigkeit Körperbehinderung und geistige Behinderung werden angesprochen die Entwicklung der medizinisch-pädagogischen Gesamtaufgabe in der Rehabilitation wird bis in die Gegenwart nachgezeichnet. Aspekte der Teamarbeit und der Systematik in der Heilpädagogik werden unter Würdigung des Positionswandels im Rehabilitationsprozeß und der Bedeutung der Wertorientierung erläutert. Medicine and Education Medical-educational cooperation is of long standing in disability care. The roots of this tradition in the fields of blindness deafness physical disability and mental retardation are touched on and the further development of the overall medical-educational task in rehabilitation is outlined. Various aspects of team work and of remedial education systematics are set out in light of the changing positions among experts in the rehabilitation process. The importance of value ortientation is emphasized.
