Abstract: Dr. med. H. Garten München Zusammenfassung Mit der Applied Kinesiology der seit 1964 von Goodheart und anderen entwickelten Diagnose- und Behandlungsmethode kann das stomatognathische System in die Allgemeinmedizin integriert werden. Der strukturell orientierte Allgemeinarzt sollte vor Zuweisung seines Patienten zur Okklusionskorrektur die angegebenen Untersuchungen und Korrekturen des kraniosakralen Mechanismus und am stomatognathischen System vornehmen. Die Darstellung soll den Zahnarzt ermutigen vor definitiver Behandlung des Gebisses die übrigen Strukturen die auf die Okklusion eine Rückwirkung haben zu untersuchen und zu behandeln. Summary Applied Kinesiology the method of diagnosis and treatment which has been developed since 1964 by Goodheart et al. is capable of integrating the stomatognatic system into the field of general medicine. The structurally orientated general practitioner should carry out the examinations and indicated corrections of the craniosacral mechanism and the stomatognatic system before having his patients subjected to occlusion correction. The purpose of this presentation is to encourage dentists to examine and treat the other structures that effect the occlusion before treating the teeth definitively.
