Die wirklichen Indikationen der Akupunktur und Tuina-Therapie

Abstract: After describing the basic ideas of Acupuncture and Tuinatherapy the most important action of acupuncture will be pointed out. Those are the neuro-reflectoric, the humoral-endocrine, the vaso-active, as well as actions on the muscles and the immune-system. The most promising indications for acupuncture are given in confrontation with those of minor effect. Differences between the indications in countries of the so-called Third World and those in the western countries are clearly pointed out. Some absolute contraindications are listed up. Follows a list of indications, indicated also in the western world, especially in the field of pain, paralysis, allergies, vegetative and psychosomatic diseases. Also emergency cases and rescue will be touched.
