Could Flavonoids act as Tumor Therapeutics?

Abstract: The flavonoids are a huge class of naturally occurring plant constituents that display a wide range of pharmacodynamic properties. Recently some natural and half synthetic representatives of this class of compounds have been examined for antitumor properties, namely quercetin and flavone acetic acid. In animal and in in vitro experiments they showed excellent results. In the clinic such results are still missing.
