The Tasks of the Health Resort Doctor

Abstract: It is the task of the balneotherapist to medically guide and supervise a balneotherapy. After a thorough initial examination and after making a diagnosis, he works out a balneotherapeutic plan of treatment, undertakes weekly control examinations and a final examination, critically evaluating the effects of the stay at the health resort. Generally the balneotherapist is presented different diagnoses from general practitioners which he uses along with the wishes of the patient to design the concept of the therapy.
