Abstract: Applied Kinesiology, the method of diagnosis and treatment which has been developed since 1964 by Goodheart et al. is capable of integrating the stomatognatic system into the field of general medicine. The structurally orientated general practitioner should carry out the examinations and indicated corrections of the craniosacral mechanism and the stomatognatic System before having his patients subjected to occlusion correction.The purpose of this presentation is to encourage dentists to examine and treat the other structures that effect the occlusion before treating the teeth definitively.
