Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease |
Journal/Book: Natur- und Ganzheitsmedizin Wissenschaft und Praxis. 1991; Supplement 1/91: 28-32.
Abstract: With the help of X-ray morphology and of localisation as well as coloscopy and gastroscopy, hints for the differential diagnosis of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis can be found. The pathogenesis is influenced by nutritional habits, microorganisms, the immunological status, cellular defects, and environmental factors. In addition to a symptomatic therapy, dietetic means, enzyme therapy, and symbiosis control are introduced.
