Der Kostenfaktor in der Medizin

Abstract: In view of the increasing cost in health care, homoeopathy and naturopathy warrant consideration as a cost-saving factor. In three medical practices in Breisgau, a saving in durg costs of 60-90% (!) was achieved in comparison with other groups of physicians. An example from neutral therapy illuminates the issue from a different perspective. But in addition to such striking immediate savings, physicians should also observe and document the long-term results in their patient treated with naturopathic methods: the number and duration of subsequent illnesses are presumably fal lower than in patients trated with allopathy. This hypothesis urgently requires confirmation, because it is in his context that the actual value of treatment based on activation is to be found.
