Herbal medicines: research strategies

Abstract: A review of the particular requirements for investigating the efficacy of herbal medicines leads to the outline of a range of research- methods which might be applied. The suggestion is made that co-operation between herbal suppliers and legislators in developing appropriate scrutiny will be in the public's best interest.
