Das Patienteninteresse an Akupunktur - Ergebnisse einer epidemiologischen Untersuchung

Abstract: We report an the results of an epidemiological inquiry with respect to the question about the significance of the acupuncture to the patients. In total, the data of a sample of 987 patients ha-ve been evaluated which is representative for the normal patient. According thereto 43,7% of the patients feel not sufficiently informed about the possibilities provided by the acupuncture, 73,1 % of the patients think that the possibilities of the acupuncture are yet not sufficiently used. 70,4% of all patients would undergo a treatment with acupuncture. The acupuncture is most fre-quently applied for the reduction of weight and for weaning smokers.
