Abstract: Effect of a Ginkgo Biloba Special Extract an Well-being in Cerebral Insufficiency: The effect of a Ginkgo biloba special extract an the improvement of typical symptoms of cerebral insufficiency was tested in a placebocontrolled double-blind study. 99 outpatients with typical symptoms participated in the study conducted by an internist. The therapy lasted 12 weeks, the daily dosage was 150 mg Ginkgo biloba special extract. In 8 out of 12 typical symptoms the state of health was significantly improved after only 4 weeks; after 12 weeks 10 out of 12 symptoms were clearly improved compared to placebo.
