Hat Krankheit einen Sinn?

Abstract: Continuously new discoveries and major contri-butions in medicine are being reported. It seems as if medicine reaches into the area of mirac-les. Because of the high speed of development and specialization as well as increasing know-ledge of details we tend to loose the patient and the human being as a whole in our thinking and daily medical practice. Therefore the various aspects of health and disease as well as their meaning for our patients and the medical Profession are discussed an the ground of medical, historical, physical, psychological as well as philosophical evidence. This orientation will help to develop urgently needed new aspects for the future integral orientated medicine and medical education.
