Abstract: Survey on Hahnemann´s concept of suppression. Its anachronistic and dogmatic misuse nowadays leads to fatal consequences for the doctrine and practice of the homoeopathic art of healing. Therefore, the concept of suppression and its meaning for homoeoapthic practice has to be thought over again upon today´s knowledges and experiences.
