Hole) Ravensburg-Weissenau Zusammenfassung Etwa 5-7% der Piloten sind gegenwärtig alkoholabhängig oder -gefährdet. Aufgrund der besonderen Sicherheitsanforderungen gibt es für Berufspiloten innerbetriebliche Behandlungsprogramme mit hoher Erfolgsquote. Maßgebliche Faktoren sind dabei Früherkennung Unterstützung durch Kollegen Druck seitens der Airline sowie ein ausgeprägtes Nachsorgesystem das sich über zwei bis drei Jahre erstreckt. Privatpiloten mit Abhängigkeitsproblemen werden von diesen Programmen allerdings leider nicht erfaßt. Alcohol Dependency in Pilots: Approximately 5-7% of all pilots are endangered by alcoholism. Because of special safety requirements airlines developed rehabilitation programs for impaired pilots with very good results. Important factors are early recognition peer support decisive action of the companies and an intensive aftercare continuing for two to three years. Private pilots with dependency problems are unfortunately not assessed by these programs. ab
