Abstract: Quantitative study, testing the following hypotheses: 1. sIgA production will be significantly greater in the music/imagery condition than in the control group 2. sIgA production will be significantly greater in the music/imagery condition than in the music group 3. sIgA production will be significantly greater in the music group than in the control group. Implications from this research are that music-mediated imagery interventions used to affect immune-related parameters would be most effacious in "live-music" environments rather than using tape recordings."
