The use of music and movement therapy

Abstract: This descriptive work provides an overview of the history of music and dance therapy with concentration on applications to the areas of communication and perception and to physiological, and psychological responses. It also provides over 50 suggested techniques for use with psychiatric patients, adolescents, and children with particular emphasis on those who have been sexually abused. An extensive bibliography and discography are included.
