Abstract: "Is musically induced imagery "a legal high" that will provide in the 1990s what LSD and the drug culture naively sought in the 1960s? Evidence is accumulating thatthe responsible use of imagery evoked by music can provide a safer "trip" to higher consciousness." The author reports on his own GIM journey, guided by Helen Bonny in 1989, discusses GIM issues with her and reports the story of HB and her therapy.
