How Children View Each Other as a Result of Group Music Therapy - a mini research based on Personal Construct Psychology

Abstract: The subject for this research had to be directly related to my every day music therapy work as time did not permit to set up anything new, except for a control group in this case. I was interested to see if Personal Construct Psychology methods might be able to show a different way of recording information on 'How children view each other' i.e. how they interpret or construe each other as a result of receiving music therapy in a group, being different that is from my usual means of assessing in music therapy through observation, taking notes, listening to the taped recordings of sessions and supervision. In this paper I shall outline the design of the research and the processes involved to arrive at the result. I shall summarize the results at the end.
