Abstract: The fever therapy is a valuable supplement to the treatment of solid tumors. For this only a moderate increase of the temperature to values of 38.5 to 39 degrees Celsius is necessary, as shown in the present paper, in order to achieve the effects desired in the tumor therapy, T-cell activation, NK-stimulation, increase of the haemopoiesis. Any further increase of the temperature is neither necessary nor desirable.
