Research into homoeopathic treatment of rheumatological disease: why and how?

Abstract: Rheumatology is the most developed area of clinical research into homoeopathy. Several double-blind trials investigating the efficacy of homoeopathy have been published, their methods, results and criticisms are described. Development research to improve homoeopathic treatment is also required. A new method of development research, based on a computerised database is described. Future priorities are discussed.
