Abstract: The phenomena of the electro-acupuncture according to Voll (EAV) can just as little be explained with the theoretical models of our traditional medicine as the acupuncture, bioresonance therapy or homoeopathy. Therefore, half-hearted attempts of the clinical medicine to examine these methods with its understanding of science must finally be bound to fail. On the other hand, these traditional paradigms taken from the image existing of the sciences in the 19th century (as criticized by many physicists) do also not seem to be suitable to bring medicine out of the present blind alley (e.g. as regards the stagnation in diagnostics and therapy of chronic diseases). Therefore, a change of paradigm is also in meidicne inevitable. In the United States one is already speaking of the "Second medical revolution", namely towards "Infomedicine". The required change of paradigms would essentially mean to include cybernetic models, but also knowledge of quantum mechanics, the model of the dissipative structures according to Prigogine and, finally, also the principle of the holography (david Bohn). No doubt, the acceptance of an energetic and cybernetic way of consideration also in medicine - as equal to a material - structural (as for instance the biochemical) - would medicine bring a similar large progress as previously the biochemical model. After overcoming the either-or-thinking it would by no means be necessary to give up for special fields appropriate model in favour of a new for other fields appropriate model. The unprofitable distinction between the so-called scientific and biological medicine would hereby be overcome. Through a new understanding of the terme disease and through plain cybernetic approaches in the therapy medicine could find back to the principle of "Nil nocere". It is shown that the function analyzing biometry - electro-acupuncture according to Voll (EAV) is a typical procedure within the new paradigm.
