Privatärztliche Abrechnung der Homöopathie

Abstract: Although the homoeopathy can till now not be deemed generally approved as scientific, as a rule it is yet repaid for by private health insurance companies. According to the information of the Federal Board of Physicians it is possible to charge analogously for the time consuming homoeopathic initial anamnesis according to the numbers 807 and 860, respectively, of the Regulation of the Fees of Physicians; however, only once in each case treated. The separate application of analogous numbers for repeated repertorisation is not possible. The private health insurance companies do not compensate for frequent treatments which are neither scientifically approved her consistent with the principles of the homoeopathy. This applies above all to polypragmatic prescriptions of medicaments in particular in case of combination preparations, high dilutions (preparations of high decimal potency), nosological medicaments and the electro-acupuncture according to Voll (EAV)
