Abstract: In a natural movement man as a whole is intentionally directed towards dealing with the environment. In this he is only marginally aware of his physical functions.Traditional rules of breathing and exercise throughout consider these natural processes by including into their instructions sensational imaginations of widening. The respective movements are induced through directions to loosen. In contrast thereto, scientific training methods favour the deliberate increase in efficiency and orientate people at the mechanics of isolated partial movements regulated and controlled through the directions to contract. The differences in the two types of training for optimizing physical exercises are shown and their sensori-motor conception is discussed.
