Abstract: Starting from the collected comprehensive patient's symptomatology and taking into account the characteristic symptoms, the drugs which match the patient's symptomatology are determined on the basis of the repertory which corresponds best to each case. The final decision about the most suitable drug is made by a comparison with the materia medica.Especially large general repertories which were mostly compiled during the last century are taken into consideration.
