Immunmodulation mit Auto- und Heterovakzinen

Abstract: Auto- and heterovaccines are drugs in the sense of § 2 para. 1 of the Act an Drugs. The application of bacterial substances for immune stimulation of the already infected organism was for the first time performed by L. Pasteur in 1885 and has since 1898 been further developed by A. Wright. Due to the increasing resistance to antibiotics the interest in the probiotic immunomodulation with vaccines which V. Harth considers to belong to the approved natural medical treatments is again increasing.Vaccines derived from enterobacteria induce specific inhibitory activities and that avoiding "dangerous" reactions. They are not indicated with diseases of the intestinal tract but also of the respiratory tract (double-blind placebo study: Therapy of the chronic sinusitis with vaccine from E. coli R).As most important indications are named chronic sinusitis, chronic bronchitis, chronic pyodermal diseases (acne, furunculosis), chronic infections of the urinary tract, chronic intestinal diseases and some allergies.
