Abstract: The fever therapy is a valuable supplement to the treatment of solid tumours. For this only a moderate increase of the temperature to values of 38.5 to 39 °C is necessary, as shown in the present paper, in order to achieve the effects desired in the tumour therapy, T-cell activation, NK-stimulation, increase of the haemopoiesis. Any further increase of the temperature is neither necessary nor desirable.
