Lektine der Mistel - Bedeutung in klassischer und experimenteller Medizin

Abstract: Lectins including the lectin of Viscum album (VAA) are important tools in medical, research and in clinical experiments respectively. The lectin VAA was characterized cellbiochemically and physicochemically. Especially the following properties are interesting as cytotox, agglutinating, histamine releasing, immunostimulating or the ability for activating phagocytosis. The possibilities and limitations of the lectins in drugs are discussed.
